“It’s being here now that’s important. There’s no past and there’s no future. Time is a very misleading thing. All there is ever, is the now. We can gain experience from the past, but we can’t relive it; and we can hope for the future, but we don’t know if there is one.”— George Harrison (via hopelessromantichippy)
Did they really block tumblr at the High School? :(
I’m sad to say they did. The decision was largely a result of students using tubmlr like Facebook to be catty and attack each other. Gratefully teachers can still access it at school though as I post a lot of stuff on my site that I share with my classes. Be glad your in college now Chelsea where you can access the world wide web without big brother looking over your shoulder.
“People are always trying to f**k up other people’s lives by telling lies about them. You wanna really f**k someone’s life up? Tell the truth about them. They ain’t never gonna be the same." -Jason Stackhouse”—
Your dad cheated on his first three wives and your mom abandoned you when you were twelve without ever looking back. That’s rough, really it is, but you should have learned from those experiences. You should have learned from the horrible way your parents actions made you feel that these are behaviors you never want to repeat thus stopping the cycle.
But no, you had to be an idiot tool and repeat both of your parents actions. You cheated on your wife, who you’ve been dating and or married to for over ten years, while she was pregnant with your second child. Then you left her alone with your two year old son and new baby daughter without a backwards glance or apology. All so you could be with the woman you “love” and have been secretly dating for over a year.
Well, allow me to be the first to congratulate you on being a bastard and repeating the cycle. You and your parents must be so proud! I hope you know that your children are smarter than you and will not be repeating this cycle. They have a loving family who will show them what honor, respect, and love truly mean. Your children will live long and happy lives without ever selfishly breaking someone’s heart. Mark my word- they will be happy. You however, will have to deal with the horrible things karma throws your way-because believe me-karma is gonna get you. It always does, always…
This rant is dedicated to a good friend of mine whose husband has just left her and her two beautiful children. May God bless them abundantly through this crisis.
n. [Brit. wallesia] a condition characterized by scanning faces in a crowd looking for a specific person who would have no reason to be there, which is your brain’s way of checking to see whether they’re still in your life, subconsciously patting its emotional pockets before it leaves for the day.
